In Estero the question is rarely whether to repaint the pool cage; it is how to repaint it so the architectural committee never has a reason to write. The Brooks, Bella Terra, Miromar Lakes, Grandezza, Corkscrew Shores and the villages around Coconut Point all have a standard, and the standard is a bronze or black frame that looks factory-fresh. ABC Pool Cage Painting delivers that finish with the preparation that makes it last.

This page covers painting in Estero and the Village of Estero. The Estero restoration page covers structural repair and the rescreening page covers screen.

Matching the Community Color

We match the community reference so the repainted cage blends with the enclosures on either side of it. Same-color repainting is generally treated as maintenance; a color change needs product information, which we provide with the matched reference. Gate access and contractor hours are confirmed before the first day.

Why Estero Frames Haze Early

Dark frames on open lots chalk into a grey haze on the south-facing beams within a few years; lake lots take reflected afternoon sun on the west wall; reclaimed-water irrigation spots the lower rail. Preparation removes all of it across the whole frame so the color returns uniform, and corroded screws are replaced with stainless steel so they do not streak the new finish.

The Painting Process

• Chemical wash to dissolve chalk and mineral deposits.
• Mechanical oxidation removal across the frame; rust treatment at hardware points.
• Stainless screws where the originals have corroded.
• Adhesion primer and an exterior aluminum coating sprayed with the pool, pavers, house and plantings masked.
• Screen replaced after cure when it is part of the project.

Grouping Homes in One Community

Because streets in Estero were built together, they need repainting together. Scheduling several homes in one community in the same block of days lowers the cost for each and keeps crew time inside the gate short.

Timeline

Two to three working days for most single-family cages in Estero, within community contractor hours, with the lanai back in use each evening.
