Pool Cage Painting in Cape Coral, Florida
Cape Coral has a pool cage on almost every canal lot, and the canals decide how the cage ages. On Gulf-access water in the southeast and southwest Cape, salt pits the bottom rail and blooms corrosion at every screw; on the freshwater canals and open lots up north, the sun chalks the finish and well water stains the lower frame orange. ABC Pool Cage Painting repaints enclosures across all four quadrants of the Cape, preparing each frame for the water it lives on.

Pool Cage Painting Across Every Quadrant of Cape Coral
Salt Canal or Freshwater Canal: Two Different Preparations
Saltwater frames get the full coastal treatment: mechanical oxidation removal across the entire structure, corrosion neutralized and sealed at every fastener and cable anchor, stainless screws throughout, then primer and a sprayed exterior aluminum coating. Freshwater and inland frames need the iron staining stripped, the chalk removed and mildew treated before primer, and we point out the sprinkler heads hitting the cage so they can be redirected. Docks, lifts and seawalls are protected in both cases and coating is scheduled for calm mornings.
Finishing the Work That Ian Started
Thousands of Cape Coral cages were closed up quickly after the hurricane with whatever hardware and screen was available, and many were then painted over that work. Repainting properly means undoing the shortcuts first: mismatched screws replaced with stainless, minor bends corrected where the frame allows, coating that was sprayed over corrosion removed to a sound edge. Structural repair is covered on our Cape Coral restoration page and screen on our Cape Coral rescreening page.
Colors, Timelines and Seasonal Owners in the Cape
White, bronze or black
White still dominates the original southeast Cape neighborhoods; bronze and black are standard on the new construction across the north. A repaint is the least expensive moment to change color because the frame is stripped and primed regardless.
Two to four working days
Preparation and hardware first, then priming and spraying, then screen after the coating cures if it is part of the project. Summer coating is scheduled for dry mornings ahead of the afternoon storms.
Done before you return
Seasonal owners can have the repaint completed while they are away, with access arranged in advance and photos and the invoice sent on completion. Whole streets built in the same years are often scheduled together.
